Independent Curator bridging Art, Cultural Identity, and Social Transformation

Since starting my career in 2021, I’ve been recognized as a leading voice in art and have helped launch several groundbreaking programs in Portugal and abroad.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of artists, cultural institutions, research labs, and brands to realize exhibitions, artist residency programs, commissions, and events, as well as launch new strategic initiatives. I specialize in supporting artists whose practices are shaped by evolving cultural narratives, local identities, and community-based approaches. I thrive on building unexpected collaborations across disciplines and geographies.

My professional experience also includes working with contemporary art galleries in Milan, including Primo Marella Gallery, as well as collaborating with the MOCAA (Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa) in Cape Town, expanding my experience across different international art contexts and cultural landscapes.

Currently, my research interests center on how art can be used as a powerful tool to explore and amplify key themes such as memory, belonging, migration, heritage, and the resilience of minority cultures. I’m particularly drawn to projects that challenge dominant narratives and invite the public to engage more deeply with stories rooted in place, tradition, and lived experience.

As an independent curator, I have worked with Mono, Pavilhão Liceu Camões, Andar de Baixo, Movart, Frei House, Armazém Soul, Open Hearts, Rove Lisboa, SNDB. As a researcher, I’ve collaborated with Casa degli Artisti.
